Meet Kasia
Kasia McCormick has carved a special niche in residential real estate sales, one that makes full use of her global/local perspective. Kasia is firmly rooted in Houston; her flourishing career is here, her husband's career is here and they are raising their young children in their inner-Loop neighborhood where she is committed to the schools and community. However, her international background and experiences living and working abroad as a diplomat give her an extraordinary range of expertise and are of inestimable value for many of her Houston clients who share that international connection.
"I believe that I resonate well with young families and professional couples looking to live in the city as well as globally-focused, hyper-busy clients who want a Realtor to help guide them and do the research for them," Kasia says. "My husband and I fit in both of these categories and I am acutely aware of what is required for a Realtor to really serve their needs."

Kasia is extremely resourceful and tenacious, and works hard to exceed her clients' expectations. "I see my sellers' and buyers' preferences as my starting point to deliver excellent service. If my clients are asking about schools, for instance, I may offer tour schools in the area on their behalf in order to be more fully informed."
Working as a diplomat taught Kasia how to work through challenges in a positive, win-win way for all involved, a skill that has proven successful in her real estate career. "I innately think creatively and explore diverse ways to tackle obstacles for my clients."
Kasia's analysis and understanding of the complexity of Houston real estate goes far beyond selling houses. An engaged community activist, Kasia lead the Special Minimum Lot Size Area effort in her inner-loop neighborhood which passed in late 2019 with a huge majority and resounding yes, after a tireless year of engaging citizens door-to-door, countless 1:1 meetings with City Council members, communication with planning department and mayoral staff, local developers, civic associations and the like. Her detailed and up to date knowledge on historical guidelines, deeds, neighborhood protection tools, coupled with her network of information, allows Kasia to pass invaluable knowledge on to her clients.
Kasia graduated from Columbia University in New York City and served in the United States Peace Corps in Senegal,West Africa. She was chosen as a select Presidential Management Fellow by the U. S. Department of State in Washington, D. C. where she worked as a diplomat/international cooperation specialist for seven years. She settled in Houston in 2009, married, and has young children she is raising in the Loop, where she is very committed to and engaged with neighborhood schools, sports teams, and associations.
